Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Take overall charge of the management, planning and execution of stage technology work, including the technical coordination, personnel scheduling, budget formulation and safety management of the three core systems: stage machinery, lighting and audio. Serve as the chief technical person for all performances and events to ensure safe, efficient and precise technical support for relevant activities.
  2. Technical coordination & management: Review the technical proposals, drawings and budgets of all performances and events, and assess technical feasibility, safety and costs. Coordinate technical resources throughout the entire process of stage setup, lighting focusing, rehearsal, performance and strike.
  3. Team & safety leadership: Coordinate and oversee the external stage technical team of the Performance Venues; lead and manage all professional technical teams (mechanical, lighting, audio, stage management), formulate and strictly implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), adhere to the Safety First Principle, and take accountability for safe operation.
  4. External coordination: Serve as the chief technical contact, align technical needs with university user groups as well as the Technical Directors (TDs), directors and designers of visiting theatre companies, and provide professional support and advice.
  5. Budget & asset management: Formulate technology-related budgets and control operational and project costs. Be responsible for the maintenance, upkeep, renovation and procurement planning of all technical equipment, as well as the musical instruments and band supplies of the Performance Venues.
  6. Emergency response: Develop emergency plans for major technical failures, serve as the chief technical commander during performances and events, make rapid decisions, handle sudden technical accidents, and ensure the smooth progress of performances and events.
  7. Standardization development: Establish and maintain the technical archive repository of the Performance Venues, including equipment lists, system drawings, operation manuals, performance records and other relevant documents.
  8. Be responsible for the verification and supervision of the delivery and commissioning of stage facilities and equipment at the Performance Venues of the School of Music.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. A full-time bachelor’s degree or above, with priority given to majors in Stage Technology Management, Stage Design and Production, Music and Performing Arts or other related fields.
  2. More than 10 years of experience in the management and execution of large-scale stage technology work, and proficient in the technical coordination of various stage systems including stage machinery, lighting, audio, video and stage art installations.
  3. Hold technical qualifications and certifications issued by professional institutions (e.g., Occupational Skill Appraisal by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, China Stage Designers Association, ETCP, etc.).
  4. Core Competencies:
  • Technical decision-making: Possess the ability to conduct type selection and evaluation, cost control, safety specification formulation and maintenance planning for multi-million-yuan equipment.
  • Crisis management: Proficient in the use of equipment hot redundant backup systems, have the ability to handle emergencies, and master the RAMS risk assessment method to reduce and avoid sudden failures and hidden dangers during performances.
  • Artistic comprehension: Have a certain ability to appreciate music, literature and art; be able to translate stage design drawings, musical scores, performance scripts and other documents into technical instructions for performance equipment.
  1. Excellent communication skills, a strong sense of responsibility and good team spirit.
  2. Basic English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing; capable of reading and understanding English technical documents and conducting basic English communication.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.

  2. 技術(shù)統(tǒng)籌與管理：審核所有演出/活動(dòng)類(lèi)項(xiàng)目的技術(shù)方案、圖紙及預(yù)算，評(píng)估技術(shù)可行性、安全性與成本。統(tǒng)籌協(xié)調(diào)裝臺(tái)、對(duì)光、彩排、演出、拆臺(tái)全過(guò)程的技術(shù)資源。
  3. 團(tuán)隊(duì)與安全領(lǐng)導(dǎo)：負(fù)責(zé)對(duì)接，統(tǒng)籌管理演藝中心第三方舞臺(tái)技術(shù)團(tuán)隊(duì)。領(lǐng)導(dǎo)和管理各專(zhuān)業(yè)技術(shù)團(tuán)隊(duì)（機(jī)械、燈光、音響、舞臺(tái)監(jiān)督），制定并嚴(yán)格執(zhí)行安全操作規(guī)程（SOP），確保“安全第一”原則，對(duì)安全生產(chǎn)負(fù)責(zé)。
  4. 對(duì)外協(xié)調(diào)：作為技術(shù)總接口，與大學(xué)使用團(tuán)體、來(lái)訪(fǎng)劇團(tuán)的技術(shù)總監(jiān)（TD）、導(dǎo)演、設(shè)計(jì)師進(jìn)行技術(shù)對(duì)接，明確需求并提供專(zhuān)業(yè)建議與支持。
  5. 預(yù)算與資產(chǎn)：編制技術(shù)相關(guān)預(yù)算，控制運(yùn)營(yíng)與項(xiàng)目成本。負(fù)責(zé)所有技術(shù)設(shè)備和演藝中心樂(lè)器、樂(lè)隊(duì)用品資產(chǎn)的維護(hù)、保養(yǎng)、更新改造及采購(gòu)規(guī)劃。
  6. 應(yīng)急處理：制定重大技術(shù)故障應(yīng)急預(yù)案，并在演出/活動(dòng)期間擔(dān)任技術(shù)總指揮，快速?zèng)Q策，處理突發(fā)技術(shù)事故，保障演出/活動(dòng)順利進(jìn)行。
  7. 標(biāo)準(zhǔn)化建設(shè)：建立并維護(hù)演藝中心技術(shù)檔案庫(kù)（包括設(shè)備清單、系統(tǒng)圖紙、操作手冊(cè)、演出檔案等）。
  8. 負(fù)責(zé)核對(duì)、監(jiān)督音樂(lè)學(xué)院演藝中心舞臺(tái)設(shè)施設(shè)備交付及開(kāi)辦。

崗位要求：

  1. 全日制本科以上學(xué)歷，舞臺(tái)技術(shù)管理/舞美設(shè)計(jì)制作/音樂(lè)藝術(shù)表演等相關(guān)專(zhuān)業(yè)優(yōu)先。
  2. 10年以上大型舞臺(tái)技術(shù)管理與執(zhí)行經(jīng)驗(yàn)，熟悉多種舞臺(tái)機(jī)械、燈光音響視頻、舞美裝置等舞臺(tái)系統(tǒng)技術(shù)統(tǒng)籌工作。
  3.  取得專(zhuān)業(yè)機(jī)構(gòu)頒發(fā)的技術(shù)資格認(rèn)證（國(guó)家勞動(dòng)部職業(yè)技能鑒定、中國(guó)舞美學(xué)會(huì)、ETCP等）。
  4. 核心能力：
  • 技術(shù)決策：對(duì)于百萬(wàn)級(jí)設(shè)備具有選型評(píng)估、成本控制、安全規(guī)范及維護(hù)保養(yǎng)計(jì)劃 制定等能力。
  • 危機(jī)處置：熟悉設(shè)備熱冗余備份的使用，具備處理突發(fā)事件的能力，掌握運(yùn)用RAMS風(fēng)險(xiǎn)評(píng)估法來(lái)降低避免演出中的突發(fā)故障和隱患。
  • 藝術(shù)理解：對(duì)于音樂(lè)、文學(xué)、藝術(shù)具有一定欣賞能力，通過(guò)閱讀舞美圖紙、演奏樂(lè)譜、演出腳本等，并轉(zhuǎn)化為演出設(shè)備技術(shù)指令。

5. 具有良好的溝通交流能力、高度的責(zé)任心和團(tuán)隊(duì)合作精神。

6. 具備一定的英語(yǔ)聽(tīng)、說(shuō)、讀、寫(xiě)能力，能夠閱讀和理解英文技術(shù)文檔，以及進(jìn)行基本的英語(yǔ)溝通。
